Ben Grimes is a French-British casting director. Having been at the beating heart of the fashion world since turning her hand to modelling in her late teens, Ben understands the process of image making on an innate level. Fascinated by human behaviour and the notions of what is and isn’t considered to be “beautiful”, Ben’s approach to casting is hands on, intuitive and meticulous.
Working with brands like Zegna, Ann Demeulemeester, Valentino, Ponte, Jil Sander, Armani, Celine, Missoni and publications such as POP, Arena Homme+, Self Service, RE-Edition, and M Le Monde and photographers including Alasdair McLellan, Charlotte Wales, Glen Luchford, Anthony Seklaoui, Harley Weir, Johnny Dufort, Mark Kean, Juergen Teller, Oliver Hadlee Pearch, Ben is able to turn her hand to a diversity of creative projects, understanding and assessing the output of each individual project to the highest degree.
